Campbelltown City Council has dedicated this scholarship to the memory of Ian Slade Porter, General Manager of Campbelltown City Council 1988-1999. Ian was totally committed to his community and to the principle of access to education for all of its citizens.
Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be enrolling in full-time study; be commencing students starting at UWS for the first time; have resided in the Campbelltown City Council Region for at least 1 year prior to commencement at UWS; and demonstrate leadership skills and a desire to help others. Selection is based on personal statement and an interview. Tenure is dependent on maintenance of a credit grade point average.
The scholarship is valued at $2,500 per year for up to 3 years.
