The Warneford Scholarship for Indigenous Students was established by Amber and Neale Warneford to provide for the purchase of books and stationery by eligible Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students continuing their studies in a degree course at The University of Western Australia Albany Centre.
Applicants must: be of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander descent; have completed units to the value of at least 36 points towards their course at the UWA Albany Centre; and intend to continue their studies at the UWA Albany Centre in the following year. Selection is based on academic achievement and demonstrated involvement in community or co-curricular activities.
The number and value of the scholarships varies, depending on the funds available.
