The David Pank Northern Areas Laptop Grant will assist 4 high-achieving and financially disadvantaged students from designated Northern Area High Schools by providing them with a new laptop.
Applicants must: Australian citizens or permanent residents; be new to higher education; be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate degree program at UniSA; have achieved an ATAR of 80+; and be able to demonstrate that the majority of their high school attendance has been at a designated Northern Area High School (UNAP). Eligible schools are: Craigmore High School, Fremont Elizabeth High School, Gawler High School, Kaurna Plains High School, Parafield Gardens High School, Para Hills High School, Para West Adult Campus, Paralowie R-12, Salisbury High School, Salisbury East High School, and Smithfield Plains High School. Selection is based on financial disadvantage, academic merit, a personal written statement, and an interview. Recipients of other Pank family scholarships or grants are ineligible to apply.
The grant provides the recipient with a laptop computer, valued at approximately $1,000.
