J K Lober Bachelor of Applied Science Scholarship
Agriculture, Veterinary and Environmental Sciences
The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage and assist meritorious students, who have completed a prerequisite Diploma program or 2-year Associate Degree program and who have articulated into the third and final year of a Bachelor of Applied Science program in the discipline of plants.
Applicants must: be domestic students; have completed a prerequisite program in a Diploma in Applied Science or Associate Degree in Applied Science; and have articulated into, and be enrolled to study in, the Bachelor of Applied Science program in the relevant disciplines. Selection is based on: financial need; academic merit; interest in horticulture and/or agronomy; personal qualities, including leadership potential; and other evidence as may be deemed relevant to future success in the disciplines of horticulture and/or agronomy. Preference will be given to students from rural areas of Australia. Full-time and part-time students are eligible.
The scholarship is valued at $5,000 for 1 year.
