James and Everingham Bursary

The bursary was established in 1975 by a gift to the Queensland Agricultural College by Dr D N Everingham in memory of Anne Elizabeth James and Stephan Nixon Everingham who died in a motor accident in 1973. Anne Elizabeth James was enrolled in the Associate Diploma of Applied Science (Food Technology) at the College in 1972/1973 and Stephan Everingham graduated with the degree of Bachelor of Applied Science (Rural Technology) in 1972. The scholarship is for students enrolled in programs relating to food technology or rural technology.
Applicants must be in enrolled in a program relating to food technology or rural technology at UQ Gatton. Selection is based on academic merit and financial need.
The value of the bursary varies depending on the annual income from the original bequest.
