Larry Knight Memorial Scholarship

The scholarship has been endowed by the Australian Government in memory of Larry Knight, who was killed in the Beaconsfield Mine disaster in April 2006. Funding for the scholarship was provided by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations.
Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent humanitarian refugees; be able to demonstrate financial need; and be undertaking a course related to the mining industry.
The scholarship is valued at $13,000 per year for up to 5 years.
