Undergraduate Research Scholarship
Agriculture, Veterinary and Environmental Sciences, Agriculture, Veterinary and Environmental Sciences/Veterinary Sciences, Science - General/Science - General
Undergraduate Research Scholarships are available to students in the latter stages of their undergraduate degree for the purpose of undertaking small industry-based projects or for research leading to an honours project. Scholarships may be taken in any area relevant to APL's research priorities, as identified in the current Strategic Plan.
Applicants must: be in the latter stages of their undergraduate degree and have a realistic expectation of obtaining first or upper second class honours; have a well-defined area of study, preferably associated with a currently funded APL project; and use the study topic as part of an honours project. Preference will be given to applicants wishing to undertake projects which will provide some exposure to the pork industry.
The scholarship is valued at $350 per week for up to 10 weeks, paid pro-rata based on the actual number of days worked.
