Applicants must: be continuing students enrolled in any course involving any type of historical or regional research at the Wagga Wagga campus; have a sound academic record; be able to demonstrate a significant contribution to their community; possess a sound knowledge of the Riverina; and be likely to contribute to a discipline relevant to the Historical Society or a regional museum operation upon graduation. The recipient will be expected to undertake supervised work experience at the Museum of the Riverina, Wagga Wagga during the year and to submit a written report to the Society within 6 months of the conclusion of the academic year.
The scholarship is valued at $3,000 for 1 year, paid in 2 equal instalments, subject to satisfactory academic performance.
