Architecture, Urban Environment and Building, Engineering and Technology, Engineering and Technology/Civil Engineering, Engineering and Technology/Mechanical and Industrial Engineering
Scholarships are offered to outstanding Faculty of Engineering PhD students for research programs starting in session 1 and 2 of each academic year.
The scholarships are open to Australian citizens, permanent residents, and New Zealand citizens proposing to enrol in a full-time PhD program in the Schools of Chemical and Industrial Engineering, Civil and Environmental Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Telecommunications, Surveying and Spatial Information Systems, Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, Mining Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Photovoltaic Engineering or the Graduate School of Biomedical Engineering. Applicants must have completed, or expect to complete, an appropriate degree with honours I or II/1 from a recognised institution.
The scholarship provides $23,728 per year (equivalent to the 2012 APA rate, indexed annually) for up to 3 years with a possible 6-month extension.
