The Heather Barnes Scholarship is available to undergraduate students of Flinders University enrolled in the second or later year of their course.
Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; normally reside in South Australia; be enrolled in an undergraduate course at the university; and have successfully completed at least 36 units of an undergraduate degree at the university. Selection is based on financial need and academic merit. Tenure is dependent on satisfactory academic performance.
The scholarship is valued at up to a total value of $2,000, depending on the number of scholarships awarded and the recipient's study load. The value of the scholarship will be reduced to a maximum of $1,000 if the scholarship holder concurrently holds a Commonwealth Learning Scholarship.
