The Army Recruit Training Centre and Wagga Wagga Legacy are offering a scholarship to undertake any course of study at Charles Sturt University Wagga Wagga campus. The aim of the scholarship is to assist the selected student by providing financial assistance for the purpose of furthering their education.
Applicants must be Junior Legatees attached to a Legacy Club, or the dependents or grandchildren of currently serving or retired members of the Australian Army. Tenure is dependent on full-time enrolment at Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga campus and maintenance of a credit grade point average. Only if there are no suitable undergraduate applicants, will postgraduate and honours applicants be considered.
The scholarship is valued at a total of $5,000 for a 3-year undergraduate degree, $6,500 for a 4-year undergraduate degree, $2,000 for a 1-year postgraduate or honours degree, and $5,000 for a 3-year postgraduate or honours degree. Tenure is for the length of the degree.
