The ECU Equity Scholarships aim to assist students from designated equity groups with the costs associated with university study.
Applicants must: be Australian or New Zealand citizens or permanent residents; be enrolled in an undergraduate bachelor degree; demonstrate financial hardship; and identify as being from a designated equity group. Equity groups are: rural or isolated area resident; Indigenous Australian; disability or ongoing illness; carer responsibility; single parent. Previous recipients are ineligible to apply.
The scholarship is valued at $3,000 per year for full-time study (or pro rata for part-time study) for the duration of the course, up to a maximum of 4 years.
