Haald Engineering Scholarship

The scholarship was established in 2008 and is maintained by an annual gift from Haald Engineering to encourage meritorious students in the final 2 years of the Bachelor of Engineering program in a relevant field of mechanical engineering.
The scholarship is open to domestic students enrolled full-time in their fifth semester of a Bachelor of Engineering, or a dual program including a Bachelor of Engineering, in one of the following fields: mechanical engineering; mechanical and aerospace engineering; or mechanical and materials engineering. The scholarship is awarded to the applicant showing greatest merit as demonstrated by: academic achievement during the first 4 semesters of the program; an interest in mechanical engineering; personal qualities, including leadership potential; and other evidence that may be considered relevant to the future success in the mechanical engineering profession. Tenure is subject to satisfactory academic progress and continued full-time enrolment.
The scholarship is valued at $10,000 per year for up to 2 years.
