The Northern Territory Office of Environment and Heritage has established, through the Charles Darwin University Foundation, the Barbara Singer Environmental Studies Scholarship to honour Ms Singer's contributions during a career spanning more than 30 years, to environmental protection throughout the Northern Territory.
Applicants must: be current students enrolled full time in an environmental science course at Charles Darwin University; demonstrate passion, ability and initiative in promoting the aesthetic and/or environmental health of the Northern Territory environment; be Australian citizens or permanent residents; and have an appropriate academic record.
The scholarship is valued at $3,000 for 1 year, paid in 2 equal instalments.
