The Baudin Grants are designed to encourage Australian nationals to study for a semester or a full academic year at a French university at undergraduate (3rd year) or postgraduate level.
Applicants must: be undertaking study at 3rd-year undergraduate level or postgraduate level at an Australian university; have been approved by their university to participate in a study abroad program; and have been accepted for study at a French university/school. While a working knowledge of French is not a prerequisite for this scholarship, applicants are encouraged to supply evidence of prior knowledge of French or evidence of the intention to learn or improve their French. For courses taught in French, applicants must demonstrate a sufficient working knowledge of French to participate in their program.
The scholarship provides a $2,300 travel grant and social security cover, including health insurance.
