Jack Family/Great Southern Development Commission Scholarship in Restoration Ecology

The purpose of the scholarship is to increase the number of graduates in science qualified to work on restoring and rehabilitating damaged ecosystems, by encouraging and assisting meritorious students for whom education opportunities are limited because of education and/or financial disadvantage, to undertake a Bachelor of Science specialising in restoration ecology.
Applicants must be enrolled full-time (part-time enrolment may be accepted in exceptional circumstances) in the Bachelor of Science in Restoration Ecology or a Bachelor of Science with a major in restoration ecology, at the UWA Albany Centre. Selection is based on academic merit and educational disadvantage and/or financial hardship. Tenure is dependent on satisfactory academic progress.
The scholarship covers full payment of student contributions for the first year, and 50 per cent of student contributions in the second and third years of the course. It may be taken as part of the course fee or as a cash payment.
