The Patricia Tufrey Regional Scholarship was established in 2010 with the aim of supporting a female student who has had to relocate from a regional area to commence any undergraduate course at any Murdoch University Campus. The scholarship rewards a history of academic excellence, and is to be used to purchase books in Semester 1 and 2 of the student's 1st year.
Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; be females enrolled or intending to enrol full time in their 1st year of study; have had to relocate from an outer regional, remote or very remote region of Western Australia to study; have a history of strong academic achievement; and have a history of local community contribution.
The scholarship is valued at $1,000 for 1 year.
