Xstrata Zinc Second Year Vacation / Work Scholarships
Earth Sciences/Geology, Engineering and Technology, Engineering and Technology/Civil Engineering, Engineering and Technology/Mechanical and Industrial Engineering
Applicants must be in their second year of undergraduates study in the areas of metallurgy, geology, mining engineering, civil engineering or mechanical engineering. Recipients will be required to commit to undertake 12 weeks of paid vacation work with Xstrata Zinc, ideally between the second and third years of the program.
The scholarships are valued at $2,000 for students of civil or mechanical engineering, or $4,000 for students of geology, metallurgy and mining engineering.
