The awards are provided to encourage academically gifted local HSC students from NSW and ACT high schools to undertake undergraduate study at UNSW. All NSW and ACT High Schools can nominate their top academic achiever over Years 11 and 12 for the award. Only 1 nomination is permitted per school.
NSW and ACT High School principals are invited to nominate their school's top student, based on the average of available academic results from years 11 and 12. Selection is by nomination only. Nominees must meet selection criteria for the nominated course.
The scholarship is valued at $4,000 for 1 year.
