The Darcy and Heather Stevens Rural Bursary was established by way of a donation from Darcy and Heather Stevens and is awarded annually to a student who completed their secondary schooling in a rural area and is living away from home in order to attend the University of the Sunshine Coast.
Applicants must: be Australian citizens or permanent residents; have graduated from high school in the previous 12 months; and have moved from a rural area to study at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Selection is based on academic merit and active involvement in the community (e.g. sporting groups, volunteer work, etc.).
This bursary is valued at $500.
